House of the seven gables

Today we left the air conditioned comfort of our Laconia hotel for a
cute little riverside campground in Gloucester, Massachusetts--home of
the "perfect storm" fishermen.

We chose Gloucester for its proximity to Salem, where we went to the
witch museum and the salem diner (thanks roadfood.com) and the house
of the seven gables. The house of the seven gables was definitely the
coolest part of the day. Our tour guide was outstanding and had a cute
little Boston accent. Tomorrow we head into Boston to stay with Barb
and Karen. I'm looking forward to seeing them and poodle is praying
for cocktails. :)
